SeeAbility enriches the lives of people with sight loss and multiple disabilities across Surrey and the UK. They are one of the oldest organisations dedicated to supporting this group. Their specialist knowledge gives them the skills to empower people through therapeutic support, education programmes and tailored housing. The holistic approach recognises that each person is an individual and they adapt their practice to support the specific needs from all angles.
With the support of The Wisley Foundation, SeeAbility will be able to carry out much needed refurbishment work at their Surrey Support Service in Surbiton. This supported living service is home to 5 young people with sight loss and complex needs. Their dedicated team works closely with each person providing support to help them maintain and develop skills, be more independent, participate in their communities and live life to the full.
