Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care

 Surrey drug

For over 30 years Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care (SDAC) has been supporting people in Surrey affected by drugs or alcohol and associated mental health problems, including concerned family and friends. We also offer support to anyone struggling with their mental wellbeing, even if not connected to addiction. We operate a free 24-hour Helpline, 365 days a year, providing a non-judgemental and understanding person on the end of the phone to offer emotional support, information and advice and a referral into appropriate treatment if that’s what the caller needs and wants. Our Telephone Counselling Service is run by a team of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy registered Counsellors, trained to support recovery and better life quality through an individually tailored programme of telephone therapy sessions. Demand for our services has increased significantly during the Covid-19 outbreak and the Wisley Foundation has generously provided funding to enable us to offer more counselling sessions at this very difficult time.
